Overview
One Auto Hub is a 2,000,000 sq.ft. commercial development by PKT Logistics Group in Batu Kawan, Penang.
Located in the fast-growing Batu Kawan Industrial Area, this development comprises a few commercial components, which includes The 12 Waves, The Ship Campus, The Lighthouse Lodge, The Automotive Boulevard, The Mangrove Walk and The Andaman Wharf.
One Auto Hub is slated to emerge as one of the largest automotive logistics providers in the country to cater to the needs of the automotive industry under the purview of the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority.
The 12 Waves
Built at a cost of RM120 million, the 650,000 square feet warehouse brings state-of-the-art features such as solar panels, natural lighting and ventilation as well as an advanced security and surveillance system.
The 12 Waves was also given recognition by the Malaysia Book Of Records as The Longest Warehouse in Malaysia and The Biggest Single Storey Warehouse in Malaysia.
In 2021, The 12 Waves bagged the Silver Award in the Industrial Category of 2021 FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards.
The Ship Campus
Located inside the One Auto Hub at Batu Kawan Industrial Park, Penang, The Ship Campus is the Peninsula College’s national headquarters. Peninsula College, in partnership with University of Plymouth, UK offers tertiary education certifications.
Courses range from logistics management, business management, accountancy, ACCA, tourism and computer studies among others. Modeled after an iconic cruise design, The Ship Campus is now able to accommodate over 5,000 students.
The Ship Campus is undertaking by PKT Logistics Group Sdn Bhd under the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) programme and now ready for new intake.
The Lighthouse Lodge
Located near to the Penang 2nd Bridge (Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge), The Lighthouse Lodge will offer premium B&B service to all its guests, while offering spectacular view of Penang Island from the Peninsular of Malaysia.
The Andaman Wharf
Located strategically near to The Nature Walk of One Auto Hub, The Andaman Wharf is a unique shopping mall surrounded with campus, offices and is conveniently accessible by the students of The Ship Campus.
