Anak Belajar Ibu Bekerja (ABIB)

ABIB (Anak Belajar Ibu Bekerja) is an award-winning CSR program offered by PKT. This program is aimed to give job opportunities to mothers who live in the villages surrounding our facility. PKT also provides training in various relevant areas to enhance their skills.

They are given the option to work from 8.30am to 12.30pm (morning session) or from 12.30pm to 5.30pm (afternoon session) so that we do not disrupt their household duties. This program has increased their household family income.

JBSB (Jom Bekerja Sambil Belajar)

JBSB (Jom Bekerja Sambil Belajar) is a programme by PKT which gives Peninsula College students the opportunity to work part-time at the company’s warehouse, finance and human resource departments to gain relevant experience in the field.

Besides making money during the part-time job, students are able to get practical industrial experience that help bridge the gap between theory and practice.

Jom Bersara Secara Sambilan (JBSS)

 Jom Bersara Secara Sambilan (JBSS) is PKT’s latest CSR initiative that cherishes the contribution of retirees to the society.

This programme provides retirees a chance to impart their knowledge and experience to the younger generation work force while earning an income and not feel left out in a fast-paced society.

PKT will provide training in various relevant areas to enhance their skills and are given flexible working hours; limited to 4 hour a day based on PKT’s operation needs. Retirees will be assigned to work on non-strenuous departments such as accounts, finance, operations, or bistro.

They will receive a pay of RM30 for every 4 hour work shift.

Smart Trucker

 

Smart Trucker is a 48 months on-the-road programme that enables graduates to earn monthly earnings of RM4,000 to RM6,000 as professional trucker. At the end of the duration, the graduates would be promoted to executive/senior executive position – with expected salary of RM3,000 to RM3,500.

The main objective of this program is to transform transport industry by promoting graduates as truck and prime mover drivers.

This program is open to all Diploma and Degree holders in any field, plus your GDL & E-Full license will be fully paid by PKT!

Yayasan PKT

Yayasan PKT offers scholarships and bursaries to high achieving Malaysian students as part of the PKT Logistic Group’s continuous effort in developing the Nation’s future workforce.

Worth RM1 million annually, these scholarships are open to students seeking quality education with Peninsula College. Students with exemplary SPM, O-Level and UEC examination results are encouraged to apply.

Teaching Culture in Management Team

Our CEO & Managing Director, Dato’ Seri Michael Tio has been honored to be appointed as Adjunct Professor from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), and Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK).

Our Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Kuan Eu Jin also has been appointed as Adjunct Professor at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Faculty of Computer Science & IT, while our Chief Technical Officer, Mr. Balakrishnan Muthukaruppan  has been appointed as Adjunct Professor at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Faculty of Industrial Management (FIM).
