Anak Belajar Ibu Bekerja (ABIB)

 ABIB - Anak Belajar Ibu BekerjaABIB (Anak Belajar Ibu Bekerja) is an award-winning CSR program offered by PKT. This programme is aimed at giving job opportunities to mothers who live in the villages surrounding our facility. PKT provides these mothers training in various relevant areas to enhance their skills.

They are given the option to work from 8.30am to 12.30pm or from 1.30pm to 5.30pm so they can increase their household income without disrupting their maternal or domestic duties.

JBSB (Jom Bekerja Sambil Belajar)

 

JBSB (Jom Bekerja Sambil Belajar) is a programme by PKT which gives Peninsula College students the opportunity to earn side income while working part-time at PKT’s various departments to gain relevant experience in the field and gain practical industry experience that helps bridge the gap between theory and practice.

Jom Bersara Secara Sambilan (JBSS)

 Jom Bersara Secara Sambilan (JBSS) is PKT’s latest CSR initiative that cherishes the contribution of retirees to the society.

This programme provides retirees a chance to impart their knowledge and experience to the younger generation work force while earning an income and not feel left out in a fast-paced society.

PKT will provide training in various relevant areas to enhance their skills and are given flexible working hours; limited to 4 hours a day based on PKT’s operation needs. Retirees will be assigned to work in non-strenuous departments such as accounts, finance, operations, or bistro.

Smart Trucker

 

Smart Trucker initiative is a 36 months on-the-road programme that is transforming the transportation industry by hiring graduates as professional truckers while earning a good income.

Yayasan PKT

Yayasan PKT offers scholarships and bursaries to high achieving Malaysian students as part of the PKT Logistic Group’s continuous effort in developing the Nation’s future workforce.

Worth RM1 million annually, these scholarships are open to students seeking quality education with Peninsula College. Students with exemplary SPM, O-Level and UEC examination results are encouraged to apply.

PKT Elite Management Trainee Programme

Elite Management Trainee Programme by PKT Logistics Group Sdn Bhd and Universiti Utara Malaysia UUM.The PKT Elite Management Trainee Programme is a platform and opportunity for fresh graduates to earn premium salary scale (minimum RM 4000/month) right after completing their bachelor’s degree. This program is a joint initiative between PKT Logistics and UUM that focuses on students in the sixth semester from the School of Technology Management and Logistics (STML). The selected students should achieve a minimum 3.5 CGPA and above and are required to undergo job test and interview session conducted by PKT management together with Chief Executive Officer of PKT Logistics Dato’ Seri (Dr) Michael Tio himself.

Through this program, 18 students who have been selected will undergo industrial training during the semester breaks as well as the end of the semester. The main objective of the PKT Elite Management Trainee programme is to provide an early exposure with regards to the logistics and transportation industry. They will be given the opportunity to undertake industrial training in six different departments at PKT Logistics and at the end of the program, to be absorbed as PKT Logistics staff with a starting monthly salary of RM4,000.

Our Chief Executive & Managing Director, Dato’ Seri (Dr.) Michael Tio has been honored to be appointed as Adjunct Professor from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), and Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK).

Our Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Kuan Eu Jin also has been appointed as Adjunct Professor at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Faculty of Computer Science & IT, while our Chief Technical Officer, Mr. Balakrishnan Muthukaruppan  has been appointed as Adjunct Professor at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Faculty of Industrial Management (FIM).
