Overview
One Auto Hub is an integrated, sustainable logistics hub in Batu Kawan, Penang. Located in the fast-growing Batu Kawan Industrial Park, this development comprise a few components such as The 12 Waves, The Ship Campus, and the Japanese Garden. These enables One Auto Hub to provide essential support services to the Batu Kawan Industrial Area ecosystem.
The 12 Waves
Built at a cost of RM120 million, the 650,000 square feet warehouse, with sustainability in mind features solar panels, natural lighting and ventilation as well as an advanced security and surveillance system.
The 12 Waves was recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records as The Longest Warehouse and The Biggest Single Storey Warehouse in Malaysia.
In 2021, The 12 Waves proudly bagged the Silver Award in the Industrial Category of 2021 FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards.
Situated within The 12 Waves compound, The Nature Walk is the longest Japanese garden in Malaysia with 118 Tecoma trees (Tabebuia rosea) in white and pink, planted throughout in order to create the cherry blossom ambience.
The Ship Campus
The Ship Campus is an ultra-modern, state-of-the-art facility that also has event spaces for corporate and private events. Modelled after a cruise ship, The Ship Campus provides an iconic signature to the Batu Kawan landscape.
Peninsula College in partnership with the University of Plymouth helps bridge the academia and industry to create employment-ready graduates. Tertiary courses range from logistics management, business management, accounting & finance, computer science, and travel & tourism among others. The Ship Campus is able to accommodate over 4,000 students.
The Lighthouse Lodge
Located near to the Penang 2nd Bridge (Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge), The Lighthouse Lodge will offer premium B&B service to all its guests, while offering spectacular view of Penang Island from the Peninsular of Malaysia.
The Andaman Wharf
Located strategically near to The Nature Walk of One Auto Hub, The Andaman Wharf is a unique shopping mall surrounded with campus, offices and is conveniently accessible by the students of The Ship Campus.
