Wholly owned by PKT Logistics Group Sdn Bhd, Peninsula College has the privilege to combine academic learning with real work environment to give students a holistic approach towards theoretical and practical learning.
Our state-of-the-art campuses in Shah Alam, Klang and Penang provides our students with a conducive environment for experiential learning. The Ship Campus will be our second campus in Penang and is expected to welcome students in 2020.
DMT Scholarship Award
DMT Scholarship Award which worth RM1 million annually is available to all Peninsula College & Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (POLISAS) high achievers & talented students.
The scholarship offers financial assistance for undergraduate students who excel academically and are active leaders in extra-curricular activities.
The objective of this scholarship fund is to assist qualified applicants to establish a strong foundation for their future and lead them to achieve their goals in life.
CEO Faculty Programme
CEO@Faculty Programme is an initiative implemented by the Ministry of Higher Education in line with the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2015-2025 (Higher Education).
The main objective of the CEO@Faculty Programme is to intensify the participation from the industrial sector as part of the higher education system through the sharing of experiences and expertise from industry leaders. CEO as an icon for students would be able to improve the existing curriculum through the sharing of knowledge, experiences and best practices from the CEOs to formulate a new integrated assessment via holistic learning.
It can also improve graduates employability by enhancing students’ learning experience and reducing the mismatch in supply and demand of graduates.
Corporate Partnership with UUM & Adjunct Professorship
In 2015, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PKT Logistics Group Sdn Bhd (PKT) to initiate collaboration between the university and industry, thus creating a link between graduands of logistics and the industry.
This collaboration will focus on the sharing of technical knowledge between the two organizations, including academic staffing, consultation, research and development, seminars and conferences.
Dato’ Seri Michael Tio also has been honored to receive the letter of appointment as Adjunct Professor from UUM Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Seri Dr Mohamed Mustafa Ishak.
Industry Advisory Council
Industry Advisory Council by Jabatan Pendidikan Politeknik (JPP) Malaysia established to develop academic strategic plans as well as potential collaborative activities with the industry and improve the quality of the JPP program in line with industry needs.
The IAC consists of industry representatives appointed by the JPP based on their expertise and experience in their respective field.
