SHAH ALAM: PKT every24 Logistics Sdn Bhd is now officially a halal certified logistics provider.

The company has received certification from the Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim) for its cold warehouse, marking a new milestone for it to tap into the halal food and beverage industry.

The certification is in accordance to the quality standards set by Malaysian Standards MS2400:2010.

Halal logistics services offered by PKT every24 include refrigerated storage and transportation for food items.

“This achievement will certainly boost the confidence and trust of new and existing customers towards PKT every24 as their halal logistics partner.

“This initiative also supports the government‘s aspiration in becoming a global hub for the production and trade of halal products and services,” the company said in a statement.

PKT every24 is a joint-venture company between PKT Logistics Group Sdn Bhd and Japan-based Daisei every24 Co Ltd.

PKT Logistics is a homegrown logistics service provider with presence in South Korea, Taiwan and most Asean countries, catering to clients of diverse industries such as automotive, food and beverage, fast-moving consumer goods, construction and e-commerce.
